I made the reservations this afternoon and here's the deal:
1) We are set for 8PM on 10/22 for a group of 28-30.
2) If we want the clubhouse (front room with pool table) I need to sign a contract guaranteeing $500 in business.
3) Otherwise, we will sit in the main room, not necessarily in one big group.
4) There is a King's game on that night, so the main room may be packed. Also, the band starts around 9PM so we would be better off in our own room.
I don't think we would have a problem hitting the $500 mark on our tab. On average, $500/28 = $18 per person and I'll drink that much before we sit down (some folks will spend more, some will spend less, so don't get frightened). However, I don't want to end up getting the short end of the stick on this deal, so:
If you are going to flake, flake now!
Otherwise I am going to be one pissed off individual.
Also, if we end up getting the room, there will be no going to the bar for drinks. You'll need to order them on our tab so we make sure to hit the $500 mark.

I vote for making the reservation, it'll make life way easier. I'll plan on bringing extra $$ to cover short, but everybody, please bring cash (no exceptions) and please plan on paying in big round numbers, as breaking up the check, appaetizers, drinks, all that ****, is not cool, and some of us end up getting owned to cover the group (I know Mike and I have been there before.)
I always say in a party situation like that, plan on dropping a 20 at least, just for the experience, even if you just grab a burger, and we'll be good to go.

Pay at the end. Take whatever you order (including whatever group you split appetizers with), round up, then add 25% (8% for tax and a reasonable 17% tip since we'll have gratuity charged anyways) for tax and a decent tip for the poor bastards that have to deal with all of us
I'm not trying to harp on this, but as one of the only sober ones, I usually end up handling the money, and I hate having to circle back around asking people to kick in more.
Should be common sense, but if everyone's on the same page, it'll be tons easier.
Thanks, guys, Mike and I appreciate the help
