I've been bitten by a damn black widow. That's right... three.

I was moving some old loan files I had on the floor and voila! Damn thing jetted out and grabbed my left big toe. Funny part is that it was living in a loan file I had done for an I-Club forumite. I bestow full responsibility on that individual.

And the worst part is that I didn't kill the bastard. Not only am I deathly afraid of poisonous spiders but now that bastard is on the loose plotting against me. I'm drenched in a cold sweat panic partially due to the poison. I'm typing this message from my other computer. I won't dare go back to my office.

So there goes my week and maybe weekend. First the sweating and panic. Then 100+ fever and nausea. Yay nature!!!

 

Hey.........drink a lot of water and eat some bread. After 30 minutes goes by make yourself vomit.

 

Have a gallon of water in hand. Learned that the hard way.

HAHAHAHA Looks like you're going to have to hang out the fever. That sucks man. The black widow is the water mocassin of spiders. Goes out of its way to bite you.

Damn (and as much as I hate to sound like a city boy) I didn't know elk grove had black widows.

 

They are everywhere. I used to kill them at the old house in The Heights all the time and I have killed a few at the new place as well. Knock on wood, I have never been bitten though...

I have been killin a lot of spiders lately, don't know what a black widow looks like though.
