Your gauges are hot, dude. So what is your plan for killing through the break in period? My first weekend with the WRX, I went from my house to S. Lake on Saturday, and took 89 to the north side (which was fun in mid February), and came home on 80. Then on Sunday I went to Fort Bragg for the day. Now, you simply can't keep the car under 4k rpms on hwy 20, or hwy 1, but I did a pretty good job. I only kicked a couple guys asses that deserved it.

I would take it over the 4k mark on occassion, no need to go to red line in it but for a good break-in I would not try to keep it under 4k the hole time...........

I'm keeping it under 4k, for about 90% of the time. I took it up to ~5k last night, and good god damned, I can't wait till its broken in.
