If you call Comcast and they get it going for you, would you please let us know what the resolution was? I want to relay it to the other moderators and to some of the other people who have been having this same type of problem.

 

Ya, I'm on a proxy right now on my computer. only way I can post.. Maybe I will just give them a few more days... see if it just works itself out.. then call and harass comcast

Hmm weird, my parents have comcast in the same city(different areas of the city so prob completely different stuff) and it works... lame

 

do this.. bypass your router and connect directly to your computer.. see if you have the same problem

 

try changing your DNS server

 

wait are you using some sort of firewall on your computer like norton securtry?

That software will do that sometimes.

 

try wiggling the power cord!!

 

The same thing happened to us @ the shop @ subydude...we dont use comcast...we use DSL...iirc Johns problem started happening when it happened to us as well.

The problem is still occuring as we speak.

a year ago I had the same problem @ my work (not subydude, my full time job)...It was out of commision until we changed ISP's...I called the ISP when it wasn't working and they did a bunch of tests but they couldn't get to the problem.

Its definatly something on i-clubs end, not the user.

 

I think its somewhere in between with the routing to i-club honestly. If it was on i-clubs end, no one would be able to get to the site

its weird though, this is the third case...who knows, it may have happened to others as well

 

seriously... try another dns server...... the one ur using must be routing you wrong
