when we first moved into our house a couple years ago, i would always hear weird moaning noises right above my bed and i didnt know wut is was.. every other night i would hear the same thing for about a month, finally i got pissed told my dad and we went up into the attic and we couldnt find anything, so i went into a crawl space right next to my room and i set up a nighttime camera up to an old tv and i recorded for about 3 nights and finally on the last night i was watching the tape and sure as hell there was a HUGE mom coon and about 10 babies with her and they would camp out above my room insdie all the insalation.. Seems like the mom would lift up some tiles on my roof and sneek to the spot above my room.. So we got some stuff from the pet store to get rid of them, and then about a month after all the noises stopped. We were putting on our new ropof, and when we looked down on the top of my room there was 9 dead racoons fully opened and eatin covered with magget, larva, flys, worms.... al over the carcus'.. It smelled so baaad.. so yeah those little bastards are a pain in the ***..

 

mmm... maggots... a ton of them probably got into your room. Better check your ears. You can never really get rid of them...

We had maggots in our fridge at school onetime. They were feasting on some spilt beer behind on of the drawers

to kill the racoons, no.. at least we didnt think it would kill them.. and then when we had the roof all torn off to put on the new one, we sprayed about like 20 gallons of this nasty mixture to get rid of any kind of organism that could exist... it was a huuge process...

No, they don't get poisoned by the insulation. They nest there because it's warm and comfy. They prolly just got weak from the poison and couldn't make it out in time.

 

either way those little bastards are gone... and its been two years and we have had no signs on any kind of rodents since that incident...

We have two of the ugliest possums here that come out at night to eat the catfood on the porch. You look out the window and the cats outside, pretty wild and wooly bastads in their own right, just freeze at the sight of these creatures eating their food. Obviously have a healthy respect for 'em. You'd think you would only find them out in the country.

My girlfriend won't let me utilize these creatures for target practice with my S&W.40, so it looks like we're gonna have to borrow traps from the city to rid ourselves of the pests. By morning time, the damn cats are crying and meowing, they're so starved. lol

 

havent u looked up and down the highway of I80? i see them all the time on I80E and W and highway 12 as well....all dead and laying on the side of the road along w\them nasty possums
