Does anyone have advice/experience with this brace that is supposed to keep the 5MT case from flexing?

I put down a repeatable 380/380 on my 08 FXT sport.
Stock trans, just upgraded clutch. Never skipped a beat.

The closer ratio xt box is nowhere near as "glassy" as the wrx 5 cogs of that era. It's similar to the 09+ boxes actually.

So in summary: IMHO a waste. either keep it stock or go 6sp

I've been eyeing these and I plan to get them. The 5mts have been revised a few times since the super weak '02 version.

I like the 5mt ratios more than the 6mt. I want to keep my 5 as long as possible.
