Kile of the C.H.P.D. was awesome
So I was coming up on a stop sign on the back side of Target on Sunrise. Parked cars lined the sides of the road, as they always do, but little did I noticed that the end car of the right side was a squad car. I couldn't see it because he was in front of a larger truck that was parked. Well, I was going to make my stop, so I down shifted into second gear, and the second I got it into gear I was right next the the cop. I knew I was going to get pulled over because of my exhaust. I am stopped at the line, I make my right turn, the second I start to go, I see the cop start to pull out. I knew it, he turned on his still lights and I pulled over to the side.
I turend off my ignition and had all my paper work ready. When he got to my window, he was oddly polite. I have him my stuff and he asked if I knew whyhe pulled me over. Knowing it was my exhaust, I said I have no idea. He told me that my exhaust sounded a little loud. I told him that I had a silencer that I could put in that would reduce the sound level. He said that I would probably be best if I did that to avoid other units pulling me over. He then asked if I minded popping my hood. Knowing that everything was completely stock, I did not hesitate. I asked if he wanted me to get out, and he said that was fine. So he looked over my engine bay briefly. I was impressed, he was able to point out a lot of parts, including the turbo. I was impressed that he some what knew what he was talking about. We talked about the car for a few moments or so. Then he suggested that I should mount my front plate that way I don't give officers ammunition to write me up. Then he said I was free to go.
Lol, I think that he really just wanted to look at the car. That was honestly the nicest cop that I have encountered in any "pulled over" situation (being the driver or passenger).

That's cool of him. I've still yet to run in to a cop that was nice and didn't write me a ticket....actually, I'm looking for a cop that would let me go without writing me a ticket.

CHPD has always been cool to me, even back with my eclipse when I was living down there, and the arcade was in birdgage, I would drive up and down greenback every day, never had one problem.
I did have a chpd pull me over once tho, but he just wanted to look at the car

We should do some exhaust noise tests, but we need to find a place to do it, so that we aren't harassing the people at the meet spot. I'd be interested in seeing who's is teh loudest.
