Hey hey,

Just moved here from Santa Cruz, job xfer... whats there to do in chico other than drink, ive asked this a zillion times and always get "that about it"

I like to go out and drink sometimes, but I enjoy having a usable liver and dont go drinking every night. :-/

Drink or drive a bunch of nice twisty roads. Hopefully you don't try both at once. Try to make it down to the Sac meet too, since you can drink there too and have more options than you do in Chico.

I'm originally from the Sac area, but I lived in SC for about 5 years, moved back up here about 2 years ago. Welcome to the family

I lived there about 5 years ago so I'll just name what I remember. Woodstock's or Mountain Mike's for pizza;Pageant theatre for indie films;Cycling, both road and mountain;Sierra Nevada brewery and dining.

Talking

I'm from Yuba City and I wasn't a ricer. Can't speak for the rest of them though. Definitely don't stop in Yuba City when you're on your way to Sacramento.

If you like bike riding, Upper Park is where it's at.

yeah, I'm an avid Mt biker (xc) but 2 weeks before I moved to chico my bike was stolen... lame, I am forever going to miss that Scalpel Team Replica, cost me a friggan arm and two legs. I am staying in oroville right now, dirty dirty little meth town. Still looking for a decent apartment in Chico. There are tons of ricers in this whole area, luckily they dont try to race me all the time like they do in Salinas...

I am definatly down to hit up some meets, havn't made it to a meet in some time. Since my police dog incident at Shoreline Amphitheatre.

linky to the stolen bike... the only one I know of in SC county so if you see one lemme know.

Oh, and once a month, you can take the 30min trek to the Orland Public Auto Auction, that's where I found my Turbo Legacy

If you want to get a new bike, check Chico Sports Ltd. I haven't been in there for a couple years, but I used to get all my bikes from them when I lived in Chico. I'm not really sure of a non-ghetto apartment would be located in Chico unfortunately. If I can ever get hold of my dad, I'll ask him. He lives in Chico.
