Working on Veteran's Day sucks.

 

School on Veteran's Day sucks as well.

 

That's surprising. At least I don't have to go to my 5 hour lecture+lab tonight.

 

Ya rly. I work for a bunch of commies. Pfft not paying homage to our vetrans...complete pinkos.

I thought schools had this day off?


For a split second I thought we got holiday pay for today...then on closer inspection I saw that the holiday pay was actually put in for thanksgiving

 

Penn State hates holidays. Last year was the first time we got MLK day off, and Finals used to be over just before Mother's Day weekend, now they're the week after.

 

The prices you pay just go get MLK day off....

Well the black caucus pretty much raised hell and called the Administration racists. It was pretty funny.

 

I know that Sac State bundles a lot of the yearly holidays in to their summer or winter breaks. Look at your calendar you might see that - it will say "Veterans Day Observed" for a date in July or something.

 

lol and the racist administration basically extended a few dates to get some sorta revenge back

 

maybe, we did used to have class the monday and tuesday before Thanksgiving, now we don't. But I'll look at the calendar for those "observations".

I wish I could bring in my laptop and play video games. I guess I'll have to settle for just watching movies and teh i-club
