They did a good job, and by "good" I mean "not bad", on keeping the physics accurate. Well.. up until he "enters" the black hole and travels back in time and blah blah blah.

But Interstellar surprised me. I enjoyed it. Saw it in the Imax, should watch it again.
I didn't think Gravity was that bad although I'm not as offended by Sandra Bullock as most.

Is it from your co-workers making you sick or from Dave knocking you up?

A random guy walks by our group (I was watching him walk by as he seemed like a little sketchy) then walks into the parking lot and over to my friend's car which was 20-25 feet from us and tries to open the door. Our friend yells at the dude to step away from their car and then the guy just stands there staring at the car for about 30 seconds then walks towards the end of the parking lot where two other cars were. During this time with him staring at our friend's car, our friend calls the cops to report him. As he walks over to the other two cars, you can hear him try to open another door a little bit more forcefully at this point then looks like he gets on the phone and starts yelling something. At this point we see him turn around towards us and keeps yelling and then starts to walk towards us, by now we decided to go back into the shop and lock the door as he was walking towards us quickly. We get in and lock the door and the dude comes up to the glass window and bangs on it once with a closed fist and stares at one of my friends and yells "Come out here motherfu*king JR." (No JR in this group). Our friend then says to the guys "I'm not JR" and the dude responds with "Where the fu*k is JR" then my buddy points out towards the street "JR is over there" and the guy now at the point is still staring at us, but I think he's unsure what he's going to do next. At this point, I have my hand on my pocket knife, my friend ready to roll and my other friend ready to draw if **** were to go down. About 30 seconds after the stare down and his unsureness after my friend points towards the street of where "JR" is, he then walks towards the end of the parking lot and just stands at the corner between the parking lot entrance and the main sidewalk and just waits there. While he was just standing at the parking lot entrance, about 30 seconds later a PD rolls through that was sent when we first called and we get his attention. The PD rolls over to the guy and puts him in cuffs as another PD rolls up behind the first cruiser. By this point the guy is in cuffs and the story pretty much ends there. We think the dude was on something.

No idea in that situation if the guy had anything on him, so I would have preferred to have my pew.

I don't know who said it, but there are always non-violent solutions to every situation. If you don't believe that, ask yourself what you would if a mosquito were to land on your ********.

But like Law said, you don't what the other guy has on him.

What are the laws like for brandishing with a CCW? I mean, yeah you have a permit to carry it, but you can't go around whipping it out whenever you want, right?

Yeah, I said it.

Yeah, a pew is only a last resort. But the thing is we had already tried to deescalate the situation by going into the shop but he decided to still keep coming and then decided to punch the window and plus he had made threats to do bodily harm referencing towards us, so at this point it was no longer a non-violent situation.

Unless I know he isn't armed, I'm not going to risk it. I rather deal with a jury than being carried by my friends and family in a box.

LOL! No, you can't whip it out all *****-nilly.

While California does not specifically have a statute of standing your ground, California law does recognize your right to defend yourself with deadly force. You reasonably believed you were in danger of being injured or killed; You reasonably believed that you needed to use force to prevent this from happening; and You used no more force than was necessary to stop the threat.
