So I can now vouch for the ability of the new Dell Latitudes to absorb shock. I lifted it up over my head, not using my brain - I was trying to free the cord from something. I ended up putting the laptop in to my ceiling fan. The fan it it, knocked it out of my hand, it fell to the ground from about 8 feet up, landed and bounced. The optical drive flew out of the system as did the battery and a chunk of the outer case. This all happened while it was powered on.

The system never shut down and everything still works

Wish I could say the same. I pulled one off of a desk onto a concrete floor while it was on. Everything lived except the hard drive. This was an older D500. The D620 I have now has some drive cushion area or something.

Woohoo me too.

But, I only got to watch the first half at the casino and had to leave for the airport. Listened to the end of the game on the ride over, and the game ended literally right before we had to get out of the car.

I was really tempted to put a straight up bet too. I'm kicking myself for not doing it, but oh well.

Now I gotta do some mail in stuff to get my monies though.

40/40 in Palazzo (new Venetian extension). Its Jay-Z's club. Me and my asian friends were the whitest people there.

Makers Mark was $15 a shot, so two doubles and a single for me. But no cover to get in

But, all in all a good night. I ended up groping my friends g/f (not really, but the picture looks very suspicious), punching the girl I was with in the eye and elbowing a bouncer in the ribs.... and didn't get thrown out.
