In other news...I'm hoping I don't get laid off. Apparently about 10-12 people got laid off and I left early on thursday and was off on fri and got a bunch of phone calls from folks thinking I was fired. Now today I have PTO but decided to work and save it instead...hopefully I don't stumble upon myself getting laid off lol.

 

It's always nice when companies lay off employees 2 weeks before Christmas.

It's even nicer when these people don't deserve to be laid off either when they're excellent at sales and do as their asked then there's some folks that are 100% F' ups and are a constant issue for us that deserve to be fired. Somehow it makes sense to let go of the good people

I'm on my way out the door anyways (by my own choice) around late spring/early summer. So as long as I can hold my job until then I'll be alright.

haha thankfully my manager is level headed and isn't your average moronic manager. I'm actually in a much needed & useful dept. so I doubt I'm going anywhere. Also I have this uncanny ability to be to work early and on time at 5am, not to mention I open as well so lets see anyone else in my dept do that. 2 guys have kids (1 is a single parent with 3) and have to tend to the kids and bring them to school and what not, 1 woman is pregnant and comes in at 7 and won't be able to open, 1 guy was ALWAYS 30-40min. late and thats why I took his shift and I've never been late to work while being here lol.

 

No, the pc's would pwnt the consoles
