I was mountain biking when it happened. I got pretty lucky: I was five miles away from my car and the owner of the private road (legal for hiking/biking to get to the other parts of the trail) happened by on a quad and drove me out to my car, and my buddy drove me to the hospital up there.

Thanks. I've accepted it now, and things are getting to be as back to normal as they can be. I don't have much pain anymore (thankfully) and I can get out of the house some. It's weird only being out of the house maybe 5 times in a month and it SUCKS not being able to drive.
