This is probably a stupid question, but where do you install the knocklite box?

Actually, I was just joking with Paul. This guy with a supercharged Focus came by while we were at DBTuned to get a dyno run. Apparently, he got a dyno run at another place, and they couldn't give him the RPM's for some strange reason. Paul was more diplomatic, but it seemed the other place should have refunded his money, which they didn't. IMHO, that was poor customer service on the other place's part. What was interesting to me was the fact that though we love our Subies, folks who own other cars love their vehicles just as much as we do ours. Paul's shop will get a variety of cars to dyno and tune, and it served as a reminder to me to respect the views/love they have for their cars. Though, I reserve the right to joke about their vehicles from time to time.

^^^ Was good to meet you, man. Tonights turnout was a little low. Some of the normal guys are out of town this weekend.

Rich - I saw you too late to wave when you passed me at the bank. The truck behind me honked at their friends to mess with them, then a few seconds later I heard another horn and thought "that sounded like a supertone". When I finally looked around a bit I saw you driving off

No box. It's just a light that looks like a roll of nickels. Four wires. 2 for power and the other two are RPM and a tap into the factory knock sensor.

It uses the RPM input to scale it's sensitivity (three points define the slope).

It also doubles as a shift light.

I just mounted it where the stock boost gauge used to be.

You did hear my supertones. It just looked you didn't hear them at all.
