I read that active laser jammers in Ca are legal, does anyone know the legality of such? Also what is the legality of just a detector? (V1=my next purchase)

well I do believe that no passive jammer has ever been tested and worked. There is a radar detector site that has a standing offer of $50k for the first passive jammer that works and passes any of thier tests

hrmm, well hopefully the V1 will be good enuff. However, I am slightly concerned that the metallized tint will degrade performance of the V1.
