I read that active laser jammers in Ca are legal, does anyone know the legality of such? Also what is the legality of just a detector? (V1=my next purchase)

I read there was a difference between active jammers and passive jammers, in terms of legality.

well I do believe that no passive jammer has ever been tested and worked. There is a radar detector site that has a standing offer of $50k for the first passive jammer that works and passes any of thier tests

hrmm, well hopefully the V1 will be good enuff. However, I am slightly concerned that the metallized tint will degrade performance of the V1.

Happy Mother's day to you and any other Mrs. (insert user name here) here. Have a great day.

I hope the weather out there is better than the grey overcast cold day that we're having here.
