got a call back from senator.. timing belt tensioner was giving out, causing the loud ticking, and my ac compressor was completely dead.. everything is covered under warranty.. w00t.. and since they will have to replace the tensioner it was suggested that my timing belt be replaced also (68,XXX miles) along with my cracking drive belts and thats gonna run me $198...but thats a load off my mind, i thought my motor was dying or sumthing even tho it wasnt runnig erractically or n e thing. anyways thought id let the few of you iclubbers who are suffering from valve tap or tcking noises also
Lucky The compressor and associated hardware runs about $700 just for parts. I'm at 105k so I have to pay... I'm getting belts, etc. done, too.

On a happier note, I'll have my A/C back after next Monday.

Nah, I've got some work stuff going on that week that may require me to move my oncall and weekend work to the week before or after, which would free up Sunday.
