Install PARTY!!!!
So I was wondering if anyone was interested in helping me install a WHOLE bunch of stuff on my car.
List includes:
Coilovers
4.11 tranny + LSD + flywheel + clutch
Front right hub
Rear Lateral Links
I've never installed a tranny before and I'm kinda scared. HAHAHA. All the other stuff is a breeze though.
Now for the good part!!! Depending on who's coming I can either have a BBQ or Pizza, I guess the people that come can vote on that!!! And BEER!!! No one can resist free food and brew.
My stuff should be coming from z1auto in a week or so. So, who's down?!?!?!
Also, on another note, I have JDM projector headlights, and I want to swap out to TSX lenses. Does anyone know of someone that'll do that in the central CA area?

Uh.... I might be able to help. We'll see what my calendar is like. I'll tell you in advance that the Rear Lateral links took us a good three hours. The front hub, I've never done, but I have seen the rear hub done and yeah... coilovers are straight forward. Tranny... I dunno. You have a lot of stuff listed.

Not a clue. You should also have air tools for the rear lateral links and possibly the hub. It helps a lot. Coilovers, you can do with breaker bar and stuff.

Definately no air tools, don't have any. I've swapped suspension before, so I'm good with that, it's just the tranny, LSD and links I'm worried about.
That's right baby, DAVIS! Right behind OLD TEA HOUSE.

Haha. Well... for me... on my old-*** car, the airtools helped for the hub and rear lateral links. Coilovers, I am pretty confident about. The tranny and accessories... something I would want to avoid.

If you don't have airtools, you probably don't have a tranny jack or jackstands tall enough to get the tranny out from underneath the car, right?
I'm jsut trying to be realistic; doing coilovers for the first time, whatever, but you're trying to do an entire drivetrain swap with no airtools, and no expertise on doing it...........
I know people like wrenching themselves, but I'd seriously consider letting Paul do the drivetrain and hub swaps for you, as you'll need some more specialized tools, and I think that hell is trying to do a tranny on the ground. Paul's got great prices and does great work, and it'sll save you a ton of time and money in the long run......
<-- had a full motor/drivetrain swap done by Paul.
