You need the FSM. Accept no substitutes, or incur the wrath of ali G.

They are the same size as the ones that hold the air intake big plastic thing to the top of the radiator. Just bring one of those in with you.

I want the fmic because im not planning on keeping this vf39 for very long, i want a 20g at least & this is just a temp to curb my mod mania. I dont wanna buy a $800 TMIC & then buy a $1200 FMIC a few months later

Then buy the FMIC when you buy your 20g.

I've seen people put them on stock TD04's .

I had one on my VF34. and the only difference was a bit more top end. But not enough to justify the purchance.

Oh and I also got it for the bling factor.

Haha that was a little overdramatic but i was saying i dont want really high IAT which = detonation which will probably happen when that little soda cans worth of i/c gets into the 100 degree heat. Plus i mangled my y-pipe when i did the install cause it didnt fit right.

My STi TMIC (which is not a whole lot bigger than your WRX TMIC) does just fine in 100+ degree heat running around the track at 6,000 rpm all day long on the exact same turbo, so I think you would be just fine on the highway/street.

A new Y pipe is a whole lot cheaper than a FMIC, and you of all people don't need another excuse to get pulled over.
