I'm ****ed.
Had the meeting with my boss...
Didn't get the Sac position. kinda expected it, but still... I'm so ****ing... I don't know. I want to ****ing cry...
I told him I would need time off to look for a job. My boss is being really cool. That was kinda unexpected. He said I can look for jobs at work if I have spare time. He's hooking me up with the recruiter that he uses and is pounding on HR for a severance for when I decide to leave. He's also sending me to a resume and interview class.
Anyone know any insurance companies in Sac that are looking for a Sys Admin?

That sucks. But wow. Your getting a deal on the way out. I got a kick *** letter of recomendation from my bay area employer when I was 'laid off' but that was it.

Anyways man, good luck in the search. Isn't Jason (STiPilot?) a Sys Admin (Windows) at a Health Insurance place? Maybe they have some openings. I know he's not so active on board as much anymore, but its a thought.

I'm pretty we (Intel-Folsom) are looking for some system analysts, etc. At least the internal job posting system has some openings, although I'm not sure if they're open to outside candidates as well... Unfortunately I don't know anybody in IT... But it may be worth an inquiry?
