I wanted to go to the meet...but alas....instead I am still up writing a stoooopid ten page paper for my International Relations course....:-P
I am writing about how India is going to be the next world hegemon, rather than the EU or China. Bah, back to writing..... :-(

Get drunk and go for it. I can write A papers in no time with some alcohol in me.

I went to dinner with my dad and grandparents tonight instead of the meet. It was cool though I'm a little pissed at myself. We were at a local casino and my grandfather tosses me a few bucks with which to gamble. Giggidy I say and start playing. I'm playing slots because I'm not yet good enough at cards to play in a casino. I hit a couple decent runs and I'm up about $100 (he won't let me pay him back the $40 even if I try - I know because I have before). I decide I'll play till I'm down to about $50 so that I will at least have gas money for my trip (130 miles at speed = low mileage). I get to $50 and everyone is still playing so I keep going..and going...and going. I come home with $0

Sure - I lost no money. But I also made no money.

Good morning fools. The meet was a bit cold last night, but fun nonetheless.

Anyone know where Zoku (sp?) Bar and Grill is in downtown Sac? I can't find a web site for them.

I just won tickets to see Ed Kowalczyk of Live this Wednesday at 6pm but probably won't be able to make it, so if anyone wants to buy two tickets (on-call) let me know.

Zocalos?

If that's the place it's on Capital Mall (M street) and 18th.

Here's a website
http://www.sacvibe.com/dining/zocalos/lunch.html

That place is awesome!

It sounded like "Zoku Bar and Grill" but I can't find any info online, I thought the DJ said 4th and J, but I was driving so couldn't write it down, and I have a terrible memory.

I've been there twice not counting trips to the airport, but the only place I can remember eating at was Hard Rock Cafe. I don't remember any complaints, just a bit pricy.
