i can't even see anything on that bike that looks like a motor.

The box between the rear wheels looks like the same motor/smarts/battery housing on the segway.

The segway has five angular rate sensors, one level sensor, two main boards (for redundancy) and a motor/transmission for each wheel. An interesting note on the gears for the segways was that they chose the gears to produce a pleasing tone. That's just over the top.

The centaur looks like a lot of fun. I'm sure it will get outlawd at a lot of places though.
