This guy is a douche. He has quiz reviews that have answers to the questions, then he works them out in class. He gets a different answer in class than he does on the review, then says that's the right answer and argues it out, even though the way he is doing the problem is different than the way he taught us to do it. **** him.

Here's how my calculus teacher does things.

First he asks if we have any questions on the homework due. He works any problems anybody asks about. Then he assigns new homework problems. Then he works a couple problems on the board that aren't in the homework from the chapter. Then he sends us home early. No lecture, no discussion of what the hell the concepts we're learning are supposed to apply to, nothing. Just working 6-8 problems on the board, and we go home. If my girlfriend wasn't a math major, I'd have dropped the class long ago, like 18 or 20 of the original 32 already have.

haha, sounds characteristic of most upper math teachers. I go into the class knowing that I need to teach myself the concepts and go to them for questions rather than the other way around...

Reminds me of the time i had a teacher right down a formula on the board, every single person in the class wrote down the formula on their notes... 20 minutes later after doing a few problems with this formula.. she erases the board and asks the class to repeat the formula out loud... I repeat it... she looks at me... Nope... anyone else? me.... Umm... that's what you wrote on the board... her "nope, you must have wrote it down wrong... that's not correct"... Me :

Couple other students chime in: No I wrote down that same formula too....

And instead of her admitting to just writing the formula down wrong, she argued with the ENTIRE class for 10 minutes about how we wrote it down wrong in our notes and that she wrote it properly on the board, even though the ENTIRE class got the same thing

This was also the stupid ***** teacher that would ask the class a question... No one would answer... so she would ask it 32094823942094 times... then i'd finally get annoyed and answer her question... then she would look at me like I was retarded and say "No that's wrong"... then she would eventually explain the answer and it would be almost word for word as to what I said... I would eventually go "Uhh... isn't that what I said...?"... and she would go "No!".... God I wanted to falcon punch that *****
