For all we know rat could be really tasty. As long as they are farm raised and not diseased or wild then I don't see a problem. Everything is food for something and all animals are made of meat. Who are we as narrow minded spoiled Americans to say what is acceptable or not to eat as long as its not another human? You can only control what is acceptable for you and nobody else.

 

Well I guess I'm narrow minded.

 

Not you Americans in general. I mean think about this Indians feel how you feel about eating rats but about us eating cows lol.

 

I've ate Llama before.
I've ate Croc.
I love cow tongue
I don't mind tripe
I like cow heart.

 

But I bet you won't eat a rat

 

but I won't do that.

Although in some parts of Peru they eat guinea pig and consider it a delicacy.
