I need tires....
...for some strange reason, the rear pair are worn out...at 10K miles.
I normally buy online from Discount Tires & then schlep over to America's Tires, but with recent developements with them sucking, I need to find another place to mount tires.
Suggestions are appreciated.

Paul, we can get you TireRack wholesale without tax or shipping through the Sac-Reno Express. You're still on your own for mounting (unless you pkan to get wheels too; we have a place up here that will do low-profiles for $60) but it will save you some moneys.

Premature wear is completely due to operator error.
I didn't get the front end aligned immediately after installing the TEINs, so the front tires coned a tad.
Rotated them to the rear, got the car aligned.
Sunday, when I installed the Stop Tech lines, I noticed that cord was showing on the rear tires.
While I'm on the topic of tires, any suggestions on a tire that is a bit more tolerant of water?

S03s. STi sizes, either 225/45R17 or 235/40R17 or 245/40R17 between $650-$750 picked up, plus you should be able to cash the $100 rebate. (I'm working on my own rebate right now; buying wholesale may mess it up.)

Thanks.
I may take you up on the offer.
"Maybe", because with my surgery on Thursday, I don't know when I'd pick 'em up.
Early to mid next week perhaps.
If I do, I'd bring my wheels in the truck & get them mounted up there.

By "picked up" I mean, I pick them up and drive them down to Sac shortly thereafter. In fact, I will be coming down to SS thursday or friday anyway.

Cool, I will take you up on that offer.
How about BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW 2?
The tread looks pretty & the UTQG rating is 300 AA A.
