hey, the Charater that you play in GTA3 is in San Andreas.... no change in him, this game actually takes place before GTA3, but the dude doesn't speak. and the ese's cousin runs off with him to Liberty City, and if you remember the beginning of GTA3, there is the bank robbery which your character is involved in, then the chick that is with him turns on him, which is the cousin from GTA:SA. "It's Just Business..." she says it in both games. I love how they tie the games' stories together in these little ways....

Yep. GTA:VC is a prequel to SA and SA a prequel to 3. I wonder if they'll come out with more GTA versions in the future because they've now covered all the cities from the original game. Maybe the next one will be London

 

I think they have a GTA london on the playstation.

 

they'll either do that or go with GTA:2 with the Ziabatsu...

so Matt, how far are you with the missions?

EDIT: yes we know that soggy, but we are talking about future games of GTA. Liberty City, Vice City, and San Andreas were the 3 cities that were in the first GTA game on the playstation.

um, I've done the first two trucking missions and now I'm on the mission in San Fierro where I need to plant a bomb in the DAs car. If my thumb is functioning better later I'm gonna play more tonight. I had to take last night off

I may end up just mucking around though. There's so much area in that map that sometimes I just drive and drive and jump and stuff. I'm 22% through the game though.

 

hmmm, I have not checked my % status. I just started doing the missions again. I've been doing the "extras" on the game. Lol, yesterday I was trying the blood ring for about 1/2 hour. that is some insanity right there. I was only able to pass the first challenge of getting the timer up to 1 minute, but I tried for the two minute one and failed many times. there were a couple times I was in there for over 10 minutes, but I just couldn't break the 2 minute goal.

I did 4 or 5 of the trucker missions, and I cannot do anymore until Las Venturas is opened. I just got to the Shop and am on that first mission in San Fierro. I liked how you had to burn the crop of weed before the cops came...

 

oh... I suggest doing the pimping missions, once you've completed them, hookers will now pay you once when you pick them up. there is a 24/7 that has a BMX bike in front of it.... that's another set of missions you can do. Once those are done, you get an asset revenue that generates up to $2000/day ...
