Anyone worked with making a fiberglass compatable plug for a mold? I want to make a solo seat/storage trunk like one of these.

I was waiting for Corbin to start making seats and trunks for my bike but they've decided not to since there are only about 700 R1200STs in this country. (this is why I went from the C230 hatch to the STi)

but for what they're charging for a properly fitted, painted, finished part that's not so bad.

Depending on price and condition (and insurance cost) I might do it. The problem is I don't know much about them, and with the suby I could learn over time and still drive it, the truck I might not be able to drive until I invest a couple thousand bucks and get it running
