I was waiting for Corbin to start making seats and trunks for my bike but they've decided not to since there are only about 700 R1200STs in this country. (this is why I went from the C230 hatch to the STi)
it's pretty easy. you basically make the part you want out of foam, balsa wood, etc... and that is your plug. things to watch out for are making sure the finished part doesn't become "trapped" in the mold, meaning the open side(s) of the part needs to be the widest and it has to get smaller and smaller cross sections as you get further from the open side(s).

but for what they're charging for a properly fitted, painted, finished part that's not so bad.

Depending on price and condition (and insurance cost) I might do it. The problem is I don't know much about them, and with the suby I could learn over time and still drive it, the truck I might not be able to drive until I invest a couple thousand bucks and get it running
