ill bring the tater gun to the shop sometime... that'l give em a wakeupcall. my dads old neighbors thought we were "firing a cannon" from the porch. i politely reminded them that theres no way a rickety porch could support the weight of a cannon, let alone the fact it probably wouldnt roll through the sliding glass door (was a very high porch).
they said they were "crawling around on the ground" because they thought they were being attacked.
if someone is shooting a cannon at you... laying down isnt going to help.

If they were that huge then laying down probably didn't have a significant effect on their overall height. Just meant their shoes were 2 feet above the ground.

Well, I had the Sherrif's dept call me today.
Wanted to know if I was shooting machine guns last night.
"Machine guns are illegal in CA." I told 'em.
"Laws are broken every day, sir."
"Are calling me a criminal?"
"Uh....no. But we had reports of someone shooting machine guns last night."
"Someone called you & specificly said machine guns?"
"Yes. A neighbor called in saying that someone was shooting machine guns."
I proceed to tell the volunteer on the phone the entire story of last night's events & asked if it's illegal to shoot firearms on my own property.
"Oh, that's not illegal."
"So, if I have no machine guns, that means that the neighbor filed a false police report, right?
Shouldn't be investigating that?"
"Uh..."
