I let the smoke out of my pc.
Bought a replacement yesterday @ Fry's....very nice store.
The intarweb was working last night, but not today..I'm on my laptop now.
New pc is running vista.
How do I diagnose the lack of interwebing ability on the pc?
All cables appear to be plugged in, status lights are green, etc.

Plug the cat-5 cable into the laptop, turn off your wireless. See if teh intarnats works on your laptop that way, if it does you know it's something with the computer... if it doesn't then it's something with the router/connection
you might need da drivar mod!

go to the PC makers website and search for your computer ethernet driver... and ya it has da Windowzzz Vistaz... that is probably the problem haha... make sure you get the 'patches' to make vista suck less
