One of our vendors brought in a big jelly belly sampler pack yesterday, which was very nice of them. But who the hell decided that flavors like "buttered popcorn" and "jalapeno" would make good jelly beans?

Speaking of plans coming together, I swapped positions in the box of the "jalapeno" and "green apple" beans yesterday afternoon. One of my co-workers just discovered this the hard way...

at one of the offices i worked, one of the front desk ladies used to put out treats on the front desk for everyone every once in a while...

she put out a jar of jelly bellies and her husband (the owner) walked buy and grabbed a handful and threw the first one in his mouth...he immediately started gagging and dryheaving...

turns out she had grabbed a bag of the Harry Potter ones that are all foul flavors and he had bitten into the "vomit" flavor...he said it tasted like byle(sp?)
some of the other flavors were things like "scab" & "blood" etc...
now THAT'S messed up...Jelly Belly needs to recall all those foul aboritions to the candy world!

needless to say...no one else would try them and they got thrown away.
