then BRAKES!
you'll need to stop that thing if you get more turbo action in the future and we all saw how well the OE brakes worked out for you...do we have to remind you?

i'm no expert on subaru specific coilovers...but i've got my opinions about shocks/coilovers in general form years of working at a suspension shop...
tiens are decent, but only the upper end stuff is really worth the $ you pay for the name...
basic/ss/even flex isn't all that...there is comparable/superior stuff out there for less.
there are a couple pretty impressive products out there that are on the lower end of the price scale and, surprisingly, outperform many of the "name brand" products out there for the same $$$.
it really all comes down to what you want to do...
just lower you car and tighten up the ride a bit...many people really underestimate the performance of a well matched good stand-alone strut/spring combo...if you truely do not need the ride height adjustability (90% of street cars do not) you can get something for cheaper than an adj coil-over setup and it will outperform/outlast many entry & mid-level coilovers.
look into a double adjustable strut for a street setup...although the Konis are nice...they're only rebound adjustable (street "ride/comfort" is mainly affected by compression valving so adjustments on the konis if they're too stiff/soft will not be affected by the adjustment)...
do not get me wrong...Koni is prolly one of the better quality struts out there...but don't expect to change the ride characteristics w/ the adjustment.
similarly...bilstein makes another quality strut...but most of them are non-adjustable...BUT they will manytimes outperform a cheaper adjustable strut like a KYB.
if you "need" ride height adjustability but aren't looking for a raceare suspension...go cheap w/ a decent rep company (tein-basic or SS, even the omnipowers are cheap, or the like, etc..) (~$1000)
but realize you prolly won't end up w/ valving adjustment...only height, which may/may not fit your needs.
there are even a few cheap adjustable valving c/o out there which i've seen some decent stuff from (meagan & D2).
if you want something w/ rates that will perform at track events look for something higher on the scale (Tein RA or flex, Cusco 2nd or 3rd level, GAB, etc...there are many more in this catagory...but look to spend $1500-$2500 in this arena)
and if you truely want an all out track setup...go with high end stuff $2200+ range...(LEDA, CUSCO top teir, some of the really hard to get japanese stuff from Tokico, GAB, KYB, etc...)
i would honestly recommend talking to Nate...he's got more suspension experience w/ subarus specifically...him and i used to work together at the same suspension shop and i know his roots...he won't steer you wrong.
I took a ride in a wrx with whiteline group 4 coilovers, those things are awesome!! Excellent handling and the ride was smooth, not harsh. I was told this is due to the dampening.
Thanks thats who told me to go with th flex with the adjustable valving @ about 2k plus install could I do a pro drive with a decent strut and still have a good ride? I want something that will tear up a canyon and do alright at an autocross! (I hit at least 5-8 cones per time out) I dont really want to bug nate at work so help a brother out thanks mike..

the compression valving of the damper is what normally effects the ride...rebound damping will affect how the car transitions in/out of turns and cornering stability...
the right valving is critical...
just because something has a **** doesn't always mean it's going to actually change the valving...some only change at the very end of the adjustment...(full soft/full stiff)
and some...although they claim adjustable rebound AND compresion damping, they manytimes will only truly adjust ONE and that is, more often than not, just rebound.
