I think the step-dad is gonna to man up and pay the deductible. This is one expense I don't need while saving up for a house...
damn, for 2k you can replace the door with a CF one.

I'd loook around to see if you can find a used door first.

I don't really like CF and I just want it to be like new for resale value.

i'm just implying the cost of the fix seems a bit extreme. most likely the labor is more then half.

as for CF i don't like the look but i do like the properties, why super cars paint over their CF and compact tuners don't, boggles me.

less weight FTW

dude...

that sucks major *****... a neighbor bumped into my driver's side door, with his rear bumper and it was around $1500 for everything from his insurance...

anyways, i would suggest you refrain from using a firearm to kill (pun intended) the situation, unless:

1. you have immediate proof that someone's life or limb is in immediate danger
2. have $$$$ for lawyers afterwards

unfortunately, we live in kalifornia where criminals have more rights than law abiding citizens. and that we really cannot protect our properties using deadly force.

now if we were in texas or some other free state, be my guest...

but in this wacky state, as the pussification continues, as my family's usual response to vandalism like yours is, "you have insurance, dont cha?"

sigh....
