How to climb the Corporate Ladder.

A few weeks ago, my boss proposed an unethical/illegal business decision.
I gave my .02 by saying no.
She did it anyway....and got caught.

So, as the dust was settling, I came up with the cover pictured below & stapled it to my wall for all to see.
When I got to work this morning (late, as usual.), there was a message on my phone inviting me up to her office.
She pushie-footed around the issue of my artwork, instead trying to get me to buy into her wron/illegal choice.
In mid-sentence, I giggled & excussed myself from her office, saying that my attorney had advised me not to discuss 'The Situation" with anybody, which was a lie.

Did I do wrong?

She ****ed up.
You drew a picture.

She shouldn't be angy at your art work. I'd be pissed at her for trying to get me fired!

How politically sensitive is your work place? This could be grounds for creating a hostile work environment. The court system has a way of making stupid decisions.

Except that for her to prove she was offended by the picture, she would have to admit to being unethical.

That's one way to look at it. But, as far as we know, she's only being investigated for illegal business practices. In that case, it could be a libel suit, which is much worse than getting a letter of reprimand from the employer about creating a hostile environment. But, I'm no attorney, so keep on truckin'
