I thought about something similar with me buying a VF52 and putting my stock VF46 on her car, but it would still cost me at minimum $500 more to do it that way. That doesn't include having to pull the turbo on both cars.

I'd love a turbo like that, but don't want to have to switch my injectors and also deal with smog... I already have enough crap to put back stock in August as it is.

 

Injectors/turbo wont be an issue for smog, unless its rotated

 

correct - neither of those things has to come off. this thing literally bolts in like stock, and looks like stock
if you keep the boost below about 18, it would likely be fine on your stock injectors too
if you want it I can give you a killer deal on install too
and throw in an OEM heat shield that will cover it up flawlessly
