What he said. Of the 4 "tests" you just Googled, only one has a slalom result. Skidpad != handling.

actually.. going for a ride in a GTS that was preped for the silver state, I would say those cars can be setup to handle very well.

Eh, they are never really "set up" to handle well... people just stuff 18" wide rubber under them and manage not to spin it. Not the same thing.

well.. after they leave Ground Control's shop and are taken for a test ride around the Sunrise Gold 500, I can guarantee that they were not setup by 'stuffing 18" wide rubber under them and manage not to spin it'

Perhaps... but I'd still prefer a GT over a Viper for pretty much any given purpose.

trust me, they handle very well. of course of you stomp the gas it has no problem spinning both 345's without hesitation, most cars that have 525tq tend to do that to street tires.

they are very fun to toss around, makes my STI feel like a pig.

why what? why would I prefer the zo6? because it out performs them in almost every category and cost 1/2 the price, that means i get to spend the other 80,000 dollars on mods!

I wasn't asking about the Z06. The thread is about the GT. I was asking why even bother with that much power?
