HID Question
Hey guys so I did a retrofit into my bugeye and the high beam light keeps on showing up as I turn on the headlights I'm not sure what the problem might be. Anyone got any clue on what it could be or experienced it before and knows how to fix it?
Retros are the Mini H1 Projectors with single bulbs. *I know that bugeyes use Hi/Low beam bulbs*
I am running universal relay harnesses with the DRL disabled.

Fuses were all good checked all of them as for connection I'm unsure because everything were plugged up correctly so I still dont know whats possibly wrong. Did you run into a similar problem?

Did you get the dual hi/low bulbs? You will lose high-beams if you didn't get the dual bulbs, and on my 04 Forester the high-beam indicator light was on all the time even though the high beams were not.

dual bulbs don't work with HIDs.
I think I know why. Did you splice in the wiring harness for the spring cutoff/shield mechanism for the high beam inside the projector? If so, did you remember to switch the red and black into the stock harness? Remember the subarus are reverse (switched) grounds on the headlights so red= ground, black = power. The projector hardness should have red going into black and black into the red.
If you didn't wire in the high beam switch, I have no idea. My blobeye has separate hi/low so I didn't wire up the projector highs.
