jourdan i bought the external drive to start building up my movie library again and getting all the ones off my laptop.

My xbox wont recognize the external drive because of the formatting. So im formatting it to the FAT32 and all should be good

Curious why it is taking your drive so long to do a format. You do know that Fat 32 will limit the file size of your movies?

yea i know it will have a 4GB per file size limit. Not really an issue since im not loading ISO files or bluray files. Most of the movies ill throw on are 740MB - 2.5GB

Holy ****...

When new stuff like this comes out, what is the reliability like? 2 6TB drives in RAID mirroring would be *****in for my photo/design stuff.

Have you seen the "never fail" CD's? I wish they weren't $2.50 each! But I guess that is just something to build into pricing
