I highly recommend my dentist, he uses digital x-rays and even has a laser that he uses for fillings, no shot required, he just fires a wide-beam laser at the tooth for a couple minutes and it numbs the tooth. You're not stuck with your mouth being numb for a good part of the day from novacaine.
