i voted #2, we were looking at similar colors for our exterior next year.
btw, if you don't have a painter lined up already, the guy that did our interior did an awesome job, and was pretty darn affordable too. he uses dunn edwards though, so that throws off any color picking.

I realize option 2 is popular, but don't you guys think it looks just like my house now?
I really liked option 3, but I think you guys are right that it owul dbe too dark.
Thanks for the comments, keep them coming.

the reason behind me picking option two, is that I think it will give it a newer look, (I know the new garage will do that aslo) but a lot of the newer styled houses are going toward that lighter brown color. IIRC there isn't a house on your street with that color combination.
I vote exterior upgrade on the house. Are you keeping the T-11? If so does it run all the way to the grade or is there a new base transition like stone or brick? Redo the wood triming around the windows could be a huge modernization feature.
As for colors I'm kind of partial to #3. I like a darker house with brighter trim. Make sure you take into account the color of the roofing and the frames of the windows. It's good to try to pull tones from existing features remaining on the home or the landscaping.
On second review the black/dark window frames would look good with another dark color paired around them. You could then use a medium/light shade to color the main portion of the house. I think that #4 will be to contrasty with the color of the (e) roof & windows.
Do you have a new elevation in Autocad? We could make it a pdf and play with itm like a coloring book.
Hope this helps a little.

You say you don't like White, would an OFF white please you more? We have off white as our main color on our house and it looks good. A majority of our house is in the sun for about 75% of the day, if not more. And it's during the heat of the day, not the cool morning.
