He rustles a lot of people's jimmies and instead of dealing with it they all act like children and go for the most extreme response.
I imagine this may spur up ratings for Top Gear for there Mid-Summer season, but who knows at this point.
Either way Top Gear won't be the same without him and I'd probably stop watching it if he wasn't on the show anymore.

Clarkson is an outspoken individual and thus draws a lot of controversy. There are numerous people out there that have been wanting to see him tossed into the drink for years at this point.
He rustles a lot of people's jimmies and instead of dealing with it they all act like children and go for the most extreme response.
