Do you have to sit through some sales pitch?

Sort of a sales pitch. Most vendors now teach about the products including installation, details and field issues. Only a small handful of vendors just talk about their just there products. I like the ones where I learn stuff, plus if I was an architect I would get "credit" for my professional affliation (American Institute of Architects).

That, and you get a free lunch. Can't beat that with a stick.

...are free drinks included?

Drinks are included, unfortunately just soft drinks. Which makes me hurt from the burping. I just stick to water or Ice Tea.
