Justin,
I've noticed that when you guys roll down, you kind of chill on the perimeter (nothing wrong with that) but we're never trying to ditch you, we're just going to grab dinner. I know there's been some times when you guys roll to get pizza or whatever, and that means we kinda figure you're doing your own thing. The meet's never been a super-structured thing, people come in late, leave early, stay for dinner, go out with friends, go play golf, come back and watch movies, chill in the parking lot and BS, etc. We never try to ditch anybody, we've just never made a point of trying to force everyone into a scheduled solid thing, so it doesn't necessarily occur to us.
Anybody, and everybody, is always welcome at our meets, we welcome new blood, and that's how we all started, we all met through the club and at meets.
Our intent is never to come off as aloof, we just all BS constantly
Walk up, chill, conversate, check out cars, whatever.

Well, I think his assumption is that everone knows it's a Subaru. Regardless, I've only met that kid once, at the hammy run last year, and he seemed fine. There's all this perceived drama between the legacycentral/rs25/etc guys, like they think we're all new-schoolers or some **** and don't like the older cars. Half of us owned some Subaru prior to the bugeyes, from GL's to leg turbos or wahtever.
Hell, look at my car. I've never seen someone roll up in something oldskool/different and not have people walk up and be like "that's sweet, i love the older stuff."
*shrugs*

All I've got to say is, nobody has any complaint that's legit as far as I'm concerned about SRIC members. You guys have been great about giving me advice, etc. online, so there would be no reason that anyone should feel excluded at your meets.

That thread was originally JUST an RS meet. But it was changed and posted up on all the boards.
Brian (subjunkies) doesnt like Impreza-only meets (or meets that turn out to be all Imprezas because I-club/NASIOC constitute like 90% of subaru forum members), just like alot of folks here dont like the RS-only meets (IE Go away bugeyes!!! LOL).

I go to the meets to hang out with my friends and meet new people with similar interests. But I guess some people just have too many hang-ups...
