I just got a speeding ticket coming home from rancho cordova on 50 east. Was doing 83 in a 65. I would say something in my defense but I am tired, confused, and don't have anything good.

yeah... I don't like using highway 50 all that much... sorry to hear about the ticket. I got pulled over on 50 for doing 78mph only because this car behind me was less than 5 feet from my bumper and I couldn't get in the other lane because it was packed bumper to bumper (I was in the car pool lane) and the CHP plane picked us up. long story but to wrap it all up I got off and the other person got a fatty ticket (single person in the car pool lane plus speeding)....

It's my first ticket so I have no idea what it's gonna cost. I hope it's not that bad. I was nervous that he was gonna ask me about my exhaust. My car isn't that loud at all but ya never no. Whats funny is he was the nicest cop I've evar talked to. I've been yelled at for a fix it ticket, and accused of burglary/home invasion by cops, and this is my first ticket. lol.

I really can't read it. It could start with 7's It says "speed h2" i think in the description.

 

Wow... that's a weird number. It starts with 2s though, I can say that much. I'd have to see it for myself to make it out. Or of course, RC51Driver will probably know which one it means when he reads this.

im gonna say its gonna cost you about $170 for the ticket......... $31 if you wanna do traffic school......... $12 if you wanna pay for it with a credit ro debit card............ $15 or so to do traffic school............. then the 2 hours or so it takes to do online traffic school. i learned my lesson after a 65 in a 45 ticket i got last fall. my fine was $191. best of luck, let us know how it goes.

 

Go to court, they'll drop the fine down a little. Pay it and go to traffic school.
