Got Fender roller?
#31
I just used magazines with hella heat and my fenders turned out fine. Dont be scared and just pull em haha. The problem with the rears on wagons is the bumper tab, it will start to hit if you go low enough and you are remotely flush.
Heres a tutorial to explain pushing back that tab. If that doesnt help then dremeling out the bumper and other parts where it rubs (2nd pic) should fix it. My tires are way to big so it needed to be done on my car.
beyond the fender "clearance mods"

Awesome. Thanks man. My tires are actually the right width for my wheels, (not wrong fitment/hella flush) so we'll see if I have to mess with the bumper. They're 255/40/17 on 17X8.5 +42
White is one of the colors I'm considering painting the wheels. Thanks for the ideas.

Cody, you're welcome to come up to Sac (you've been to the house before ) and I can give you a hand, too - just LMK. Took me a second for the screenname to click - this is the same roller that used to make its way up the hill as a fundraiser for SECCS back in the day

Thanks, Aaron. I'll let you know, but no plans to head that way anytime soon. Let me know if you have any plans to come out this way, but I'll probably get down to Novato one of these days to use my friend's.

Good news, the 255's fit with almost zero rubbing (The tire doesn't show any signs, but I hear a slight rub on hard cornering and hitting a bump at the same time). Bad news, the first rear fender I did looks pretty bad and the 2nd one, while much better, still isn't perfect. I think all the rust from driving in and around Reno for 8 years really did a number on the metal. Big thanks to Chunter as that info was exactly what I needed to dremel the bumper and bracket that was in the way.

Just wanted to chime in here. My name is Alex Rodoni and my brother is Nick Rodoni. We own RMS Wheels and just wanted to thank you guys for the support. Nick is still located in the south bay area - Fremont to be exact. We moved into a shop over there with all of our powder coating equipment. I am located up in Sacramento for the time being and post on craigslist for fender rolling.
Just a heads up for anyone trying to get their fender work done! We do offer group rates.
Thanks again!
