I took my car in for a balance & rotate on my Wedsport 17" rims w/Goodyear Eagle F1's on, and they pointed out that the 2 on the front (which were rotated to the back) were out of round, or bent - one to a greater degree than the other. I'm not sure if this happened back in October, when I slid out & crossed up over a drainage ditch on the roadside (all repairs handled by ins co), or if this happened on another trip since then after getting all repairs made. The ins claim & work involved balance & alignment, so I assume they would have had to check the wheels for round when they had them on the balancer. Bottom line is: I will check w/ins co about the possibility of having the rims fixed or replaced under the lifetime guarantee on the shop's work, but if I messed them up after the slide-out, it's on me to try to get them fixed. The rims I have are no longer in production, so I'm looking at hopefully getting them fixed if possible. I know the question of wheel shops has been brought up in the past here, but nothing in the last year or so.

What shop do you guys recommend, locally, to repair out-of-round rims & do any necessary paint matching?

 

I can't remember the name of the place...

But it's across the street from target on Madison prior to auburn blvd in Sacramento.

I've had a few rims repaired there.
