The STI muffler has 2.25" piping as well, which lines up just right with the WRX midpipe and makes a nice seam. But, this setup is not loud at all, and probably doesnt make too much power but its better than dink stock piping.
WRX/STI/etc. stock exhaust go for cheap in the classified section, and it costs about $40 to have it re-welded/extended to fit, so its a non-expensive option.
Although, I did just realize I still have a full custom exhaust sitting in the attic. that might work on your legacy... Pic: http://community.webshots.com/photo/...50916115sIYxyl
What do the muffler hangars look like on your car?

eh, i haven't actually been down underneath the rear yet, so i dunno what the hangers look like. i wouldn't be using that muffler anyway though, i'd be using the one i bought on eBay. it looks to me though, that the piping is pretty much straight anyway, except for that last part between the axle flange and the muffler itself. if that's the case, i may not even need to worry all that much about mandrel bends on most of it, just that last section.
if you don't sell it to the other guy though (pozzi that is), i'm interested in it.

i've got a 3" borla race muffler and full stainless tubing that i was going to dice up and reweld for my setup, but i'm affraid it's gonna be too loud.
if this is a reasonable price it might save me the time and hassle.

I think the video of it on SECCS still works:http://www.seccs.org/forums/showthread.php?t=3120
Its the second car in the vid, the Teal L with Gold rims. That video was from about a year ago, and thats exactly how it sounds pretty much.
