Here's an interesting one. There is a Jedi Knight named Aayla Secura who appears in "Star Wars: Episode II" and Episode III. This character has no spoken lines in either movie but she's featured more prominently in one scene in the newest film.

This character is played by Amy Allen, who is not an actor by profession, but a visual effects specialist who was already in the employ of LucasFilm's ILM (Industrial Light and Magic) when the movies went into production. Ms Allen worked on the visual effects in Episode II.

I wonder if she'll go into acting now. Kinda like the girl (Ally Walker) who was a scientist at Genentech and ended up starring in the Profiler television series.
