2002 WRX 5MT Transmission: Shredded 2nd gear. Includes the tailshaft housing with center diff installed, input and output shafts with gears (2nd is toast) & bearings, front open diff, case (with all shift forks, speedo stuff, etc), idler shaft, etc. Pre-disassembled for your convenience!! $200

possible interest in the tranny and rear diff. is the shredded second gear the only known problem with the tranny?

 

Yes, the guy I bought it from had a bit too much power and blew it up shortly after building his motor.

 

i'll give you 2 (yes two) handfulls of snow for the dead trans and rear diff. real lake tahoe snow. this offer is only good for about 2 more weeks.

 

Does anyone know if the '02 WRX calipers will fit an '04 Legacy, and are they that much better?

 

the calipers will definitely fit, but i have no idea which ones are better.

 

They'll fit, and they're a touch larger (and will require bigger discs as well).
