on the 1990 Legacy L wagon where is the fuel gauge sensor?

the fuel gauge is losing power or just cutting out then going back to normal.
figure the sensor is bad or there is a sort.

OK.

1. There are technical forums here, this is a regional discussion forum, and isn't appropriate for all these troubleshooting threads.
2. As I said before, people here are geared towards Imprezas in general, and the newer cars specifically. LegacyCentral has a ton of guys who have experience with your specific car and can provide real feedback. We don't know. The shop I referenced canhelp you too, but you're looking in the wrong place on multiple counts for technical help with an early car.

Not trying to be a dick, I just want you to direct the troubleshooting efforts in particular to the correct venue where you're going to get the response you need.

 

Ok no problem I did post on the other board but seem no one has the answer right off. sorry for posting off topic of the area. wasn't sure will try to keep to the other area and borads on the tech stuff.
