FS: Burton Air 153 Freestyle snowboard, basically new
Hey guys,
Just got another new board and figured having 5 boards is a little much so im getting rid of one of them.
Im getting rid of a Burton Air 2006 model. it has been ridden maybe 2 or 3 times, its factory wax is probably still on it. So my loss is your gain!
A Little Info:
- 153
- Freestyle board
- A fun ride for any style rider, the Air™ brings pro-level performance to the masses. Charge hard and stomp easy thanks to the directional shape and forgiving flex that powers through sketchy terrain without getting squirrelly. Whether chucking your carcass at street rails or chasing fame on contest kickers, ride with reckless abandonment knowing your imagination is your only limitation.

Asking Price:
$225.00 OBO
Trades:
None in mind, but open to offers
TIA!

school me on snowboards. I'm 5'8" and my wife is a whopping 5'2". What size boards would we need? I'd imagine there is a thumbrule or person size vs. board length right?

i am 5'8, maybe 5'9 and a 153 to about a 156 size snowboard is about right, you could go a little bigger but the bigger you go the more board you have to move.
For your wife being 5'8 i would say about a 144 to a 148 would be good, right around there.
basically walk into a snoarboard shop and they can tell you what size board you need. if you walk into Big 5 or sports authority then dont bother with the sales people. Look for a board that is between the bottom of your chin and the middle of your nose tall, shoot more so towards your nose.
Makes sense?
