Hey jackass, I still got 'Highway to Hell', 'Combat Rock', 'Best 'o 'Boingo', and 'Full Moon Fever' on cassette, and I'll be damned if I'm gonna give $$$ to the effin' record companies just because they try to force a format change on me!

2) Radio and carpeted floor mats became standard equipment for 2005.

3) New headliner fabric, new sunvisors, and elimination of small center flip-down sunshade for '05.

4) New windshield with strip of tint that dips down in the center about 4"-5" to make-up for area not covered by sunvisors for '05.

5) New center console with two cupholders, remote mirror control moved to driver's door panel, and parking brake lever offset to driver side for 2005.

6) Radio no longer has cassette player capability for 2005.

7) Folding cup holder below center HVAC vents eliminated for 2005 (I had to warranty-out a radio once that got hosed with a Starbucks Caramel Macchiado).

8) Black went from Java Black Pearl to Obsidian Black Pearl.

9) Trunk badge changed from S U B A R U block letters to Pleiades oval.

I'm sure I missed a couple of things. Can anyone fill-in the blanks?
2) isn't entirely correct. Early 05 models didn't come with floor mats.

9) happended on the 06 release

Some more (STi only).

1. Front diff deifferent between 04 and 05

b. Sticker on rear window change from 04 model "AWD" to 05 model "Symetrical AWD"

III. Coolant resovoir changed mid 05 models from metal to black plastic.

four. DCCD changes made between 04, 05 and 06. 2005 changed from a lateral G sensor to Yaw sensor (i may have this a little wrong but it's close). 2006 added an input to sense the angle of the steering wheel.

E. 2007 gets taller 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gears. (<---I want those)

6. Chrome bits in headlights changed from 04 to 05 with darker grey/black bits.

se7en. STi badges changed from 04 to 05. Text on doors now stacked instead of one long line. Front/rear badges changed from pink/chrome to black/red.

ate. wheel hubs changed from 04 to 05. 05 now larger with wheel bolt pattern changing from 5x100 to 5x113.x

He doesn't have to pirate anything? He can legally convert his tape collection to CD or MP3 or whatever for his own listening pleasure.
